Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Michael earned an undergraduate degree in Finance and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Michael is a past President and former board member on the UAB MBA Alumni Association. He began his financial services career with Principal® Financial Network. He holds a Property and Casualty, Life and Health, Variable Life, Variable Annuity insurance license as well as his FINRA Series 7, 6, 63, 65 securities registrations. Michael also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) professional designation. He is a Financial Advisor with Capstone Financial Group, LLC and brings to the company years of experience from the following industries: Insurance, Healthcare and Real Estate.
Michael's focus is on his faith, family and clients. He resides in Mountain Brook, Alabama with his wife, Kalai and their 6 children. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, he has a passion for traveling, supporting the arts, and the great outdoors. He is active in the community and attends Hunter Street Baptist Church.
